On Sunday, March 23, the Portuguese national team faced Denmark in the second leg of their UEFA Nations League quarter-final and managed to secure a spot in the Final Four.

Details: After losing 0-1 in the first leg, Portugal triumphed 3-2 in regular time during the second leg. In extra time, they scored two more goals, sealing their progression. One of those goals came from the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo, who expressed his emotions after the match.

Quote: “What a night, Portugal!” Ronaldo wrote on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

It’s worth noting that the teams competing in the UEFA Nations League Final Four for 2024/2025 have now been confirmed. This season’s playoffs began with the quarter-finals, where Italy, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Croatia were eliminated.
