Cristiano Ronaldo seems to have developed a liking for the increasingly popular sport of padel tennis. The football superstar recently visited a tennis center in Lisbon to enjoy a game, later sharing a short video from his time there on his Instagram story.
Ronaldo took the opportunity to indulge in his hobby during a short break in his home country, following Portugal’s matches in the Nations League. He enjoyed a few days of rest in Lisbon before getting back to action.
In the video, Ronaldo shows his usual focus and intensity as he strikes the ball with his racket. True to his nature, just like in football, Ronaldo approaches padel tennis with a competitive drive, aiming to perform at his best and win. His concentration and involvement in the friendly match are evident, reflecting his desire to excel, no matter the sport.
It’s also worth noting that Ronaldo played a key role in helping the Portugal national team reach the Final Four of the Nations League, scoring one of the goals in their decisive victory over Denmark in the quarterfinals. In June, his team will face Germany for a spot in the tournament’s final, where they may go up against the winner of the France/Spain match.
