Victor Boniface’s future at Bayer Leverkusen is now uncertain, with increasing signs that the Nigerian striker may be on his way out of the club this summer.
Boniface enjoyed a stellar start to the 2024/2025 season, building on an impressive campaign where he scored 14 Bundesliga goals. He was leading Leverkusen’s attack with confidence until an injury in November 2024 derailed his momentum.
Although he returned to action, contributing 3 goals and 1 assist, his playing time has decreased, and he has yet to reclaim a regular starting spot. During the winter transfer window, Boniface came close to a move to Al Nassr, but the deal ultimately fell through. Now, reports suggest that Leverkusen is preparing for life without him.
Despite his reduced role, interest in Boniface remains strong. The 25-year-old has scored 10 goals in 23 appearances this season and is being monitored by Premier League clubs, with Al Nassr also expected to return with a new offer this summer.
