Vinicius Junior played a pivotal role in Brazil’s victory over Colombia, scoring the decisive goal in the final moments of the match. After the game, the winger shared a photo on his Instagram with teammate Bruno Guimarães from the locker room. Guimarães had posted the picture first, tagging Vinicius and captioning it with “Best in the world.” In response, Vinicius wrote “Let’s go!!!” along with a red heart emoji.
The match against Colombia was highly intense and could have easily ended in a draw if not for Vinicius’ last-minute goal. However, his hero status nearly took a hit when he argued with the referee in his usual manner just before the final whistle. Thankfully, his teammates quickly intervened and pulled him away, preventing what could have been an unnecessary yellow card that would have ruled him out of Brazil’s upcoming match against Argentina.
It’s also important to note that the Argentina game, scheduled for March 26, will see the absence of Lionel Messi due to an injury.
