In the latest weekly poll of Connecticut high school field hockey coaches, the top three teams held steady, but the rest of the top 10 saw significant changes, including the addition of two new teams.
Staples retained its top spot, though it didn’t receive unanimous support this time. The Wreckers secured first-place votes from seven of the eight coaches, while FCIAC rival Darien received the remaining top vote.
This week, Fairfield Ludlowe and Stonington entered the top 10 rankings.
Here are the top 10 teams, including first-place votes and their positions from last week, along with all other schools that received votes.

Also receiving votes were Branford, Greenwich, Joel Barlow, Sacred Heart Academy, Immaculate, New Milford, Avon, and Pomperaug.
Coaches participating in the voting were: Matt Arinello (Immaculate), Margaret Bristol (Canton), Janet Dickey (Westbrook), Dawn Hough (New Milford), Kitty Palmer (Guilford), Maureen Perkins (Glastonbury), Kyle Seaburg (Norwalk), and Jenna Tucchio (Stonington).
