Real Madrid have been handed a significant boost ahead of a crucial stretch in their season as star forward Kylian Mbappé has made a full recovery from his recent injury setback. The club officially confirmed the news on their website, publishing several photos of the French international actively participating in full training with the rest of the squad.
Mbappé, who had missed several matches due to muscle discomfort, has been carefully managed by the medical staff over the past two weeks. His return to full training suggests he is in strong contention to feature in Real Madrid’s upcoming La Liga clash against Getafe on October 19.
Head coach Xabi Alonso expressed optimism during his pre-match press conference, stating that Mbappé has responded well to the recovery program and could be included in the matchday squad. “Kylian looks sharp, and his attitude has been excellent during rehabilitation. If everything goes according to plan, he could get minutes against Getafe,” Alonso said.
The timing of Mbappé’s comeback is particularly important for Los Blancos, who are entering a decisive period in their campaign. Following the Getafe match, Real Madrid are set to face Juventus in a high-stakes Champions League group-stage encounter, before returning home to host Barcelona in the season’s first Clásico at the Santiago Bernabéu on October 26.
His presence will not only bolster Real Madrid’s attack but also provide a psychological lift to the team as they aim to maintain their strong form both domestically and in Europe.
