Inter Miami had a strong start to the new season and is now on a break for international matches, which has been especially beneficial for Luis Suárez.
According to AS, the Uruguayan forward has been dealing with persistent knee issues, causing ongoing pain that has plagued him for several years. Suárez previously revealed that he has to take a considerable amount of medication before and after matches to manage the discomfort.
“I take three pills and give myself a Voltarol injection to be able to play,” Suárez explained.
After Inter Miami’s recent matches, it’s been clear that Suárez has been struggling on the field, making the international break crucial for his recovery, allowing him to rest and recuperate.
In a related note, Lionel Messi sustained a muscle injury during the match against Atlanta United on March 15. Since then, he has missed full training sessions and has been absent from Argentina’s games against Uruguay and Brazil in the South American qualifiers.
