Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount has faced ongoing injury issues since joining the club, and the former Chelsea player will remain out of action for a while longer.
Mount last appeared in a match against Tottenham in late September but has since been sidelined due to a hamstring injury. Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag confirmed that the player’s return is taking longer than anticipated.
“I think we will have to wait for Mason longer than we expected. I believe he will be back soon,” Ten Hag told Manchester Evening News.
Reminder: This season, Mount has made five appearances for Manchester United but has yet to register any goals or assists.
