According to journalist Toni Juanmartí, the German goalkeeper has already resumed field training and is making significant progress. Ter Stegen took part in part of the training session on Monday, March 31, and his recovery appears to be on track, with his return to the field looking imminent.
In other news, Barcelona’s goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny set a historic milestone in his previous match, remaining unbeaten in his first 18 appearances for the club.
Additionally, Barcelona is expected to announce Szczęsny’s contract extension in April. Reports indicate that all terms have been agreed, and next season, Szczęsny will compete with ter Stegen for the starting goalkeeper position as the German continues his recovery.
