Barcelona forward Robert Lewandowski’s injury, incurred while playing for the Polish national team, has been deemed minor.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Lewandowski underwent a medical examination in Barcelona to rule out any serious issues and is likely to be available for Hansi Flick in Sunday’s La Liga match against Sevilla.
The medical assessment revealed only a minor bruise on the striker’s knee.
During the Poland-Croatia match, Croatian goalkeeper Dominik Livaković was shown a straight red card for a rough foul on Lewandowski just outside the penalty area.
