Novak Djokovic continues to show why he’s one of the most formidable players in tennis, growing more dangerous as the Grand Slam tournaments progress. With this victory, Djokovic, a four-time US Open champion, extended his flawless record in US Open quarterfinals to 14-0, further solidifying his dominance at Flushing Meadows.

“It’s not going to get easier,” Djokovic told reporters after the match. “I’m taking it one day at a time, focusing on recovery and trying to get my body ready for a potential five-set battle. I want to be fit and ready to give my best against Carlos. It’s going to require my best tennis, but I’m ready to rise to the occasion.”
Djokovic currently leads Alcaraz 5-3 in their head-to-head, including an undefeated 3-0 record against him on hard courts, with wins in Cincinnati, the ATP Finals last year, and the Australian Open earlier this year.
The other men’s semifinal spot will be decided Wednesday after the quarterfinal matches between Alex de Minaur and Felix Auger-Aliassime, and Jannik Sinner versus Lorenzo Musetti.
