Arsenal has long been linked with Newcastle star Alexander Isak, but the “Gunners” are reportedly monitoring more than just the Swedish forward among the “Magpies” squad.
According to David Ornstein, the London club is also considering a move for Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon. However, there are currently no indications that this interest will lead to a concrete offer in the summer.
“There will be a lot of [wingers] in the frame. Arsenal is one of several top clubs that like Gordon. But, again, it means little if nothing happens, and we have no signs of that yet,” Ornstein told The Athletic.
Previously, Gordon was heavily linked with Liverpool, who were eyeing a possible replacement for Mohamed Salah but ultimately passed on the move. Gordon later extended his contract with Newcastle, a factor that now complicates any potential transfer.
