This past summer, Barcelona made only one notable signing—Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig. However, the summer of 2025 is anticipated to be much busier for the Catalan club in the transfer market.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona has pinpointed four players whose contracts expire at the end of this season and intends to initiate negotiations.
The club’s primary goal is to bolster the left-back position, targeting Atlético Madrid’s Reinildo Mandava and Bayern Munich’s standout Alphonso Davies. However, Real Madrid and Manchester United are also reportedly interested in the Canadian international.
Additionally, Barcelona is pursuing Bayer Leverkusen’s central defender Jonathan Tah, who is believed to be receptive to a move to the Catalan side.
Another significant target for Barça is Lille’s leading scorer, Jonathan David, who has long aspired to play for the Blaugrana.
It has also been revealed that Barcelona president Joan Laporta is planning to pursue Erling Haaland in the summer of 2025 or 2026.
