The saga surrounding Carlo Ancelotti’s legendary tenure at Real Madrid is drawing to a close.
According to AS, the Italian manager has reached a deal with both the Brazilian Football Confederation and Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez.
Ancelotti will remain at the helm for the remainder of the La Liga season, before taking over as head coach of the Brazil national team.
As a result, he will lead the five-time world champions during the upcoming World Cup 2026 qualifiers against Ecuador and Paraguay.
For the Club World Cup, Real Madrid will be managed by Santiago Solari, unless a deal is struck with Xabi Alonso before then.
