Manchester City are preparing for a major overhaul in the summer transfer window after what has been a somewhat disappointing season. The club is ready to make bold moves, targeting some of the biggest names in world football.
According to Caught Offside, City are reportedly eyeing Real Madrid’s star winger and Brazilian international Rodrygo. It’s said that Manchester City representatives recently met with Rodrygo’s father in an effort to persuade the Brazilian to join them at the Etihad next summer.
While Rodrygo’s father and his camp have denied any such meeting took place, a source claims that the discussion did occur two to three weeks ago, with City presenting a compelling offer.
The Premier League club is offering Rodrygo a salary increase and assurances that he would play in his preferred position on the left wing of the attack.
