Benjamin Sesko is enjoying a standout season with Leipzig, catching the eye of top clubs, and one of them believes they can secure the Slovenian striker’s signature.
According to Simon Johnson from The Athletic, Chelsea has been tracking Sesko for several years. The London club first took notice of the forward three years ago and has been closely monitoring his progress ever since.
Chelsea’s management is confident they have the financial resources to complete the transfer this summer.
For now, Sesko is focused on finishing the Bundesliga season strong, with Leipzig fighting for a top-four finish. The 21-year-old has already scored 35 goals and provided 8 assists in 78 appearances across all competitions for the German club.
