Chelsea has loaned Jadon Sancho from Manchester United but is now weighing the possibility of making the transfer permanent. Enzo Maresca has shared his thoughts on the situation.
At the pre-match press conference, the Italian coach expressed his appreciation for all the players currently in the squad but emphasized that his primary focus is on finishing this season strongly, rather than looking ahead to the future.
“I like all the players who are part of this team. Right now, we are fully focused on finishing the season with dignity, not thinking about next season. We’ll see what happens in the summer. I am pleased with all the players we have,” said Enzo Maresca.
It has been reported that much of Chelsea’s decision regarding Sancho will depend on his performance over the remainder of the season. If he significantly improves his form, the club may reconsider their plans to sign him permanently.
