Former Manchester United scout Mick Brown has revealed the names of players the club is reportedly looking to offload during the ongoing summer transfer window.
Speaking to Football Insider, Brown emphasized that young midfielder Kobbie Mainoo is not among those being considered for sale—despite earlier speculation.
“There are a number of players Man United want to get rid of,” Brown stated. “From what I understand, Kobbie Mainoo isn’t one of them after a change of mind.”
Instead, Brown claims the club is aiming to generate funds by selling players who have been excluded from pre-season training, including Alejandro Garnacho and Jadon Sancho.
“The likes of Garnacho, Sancho, and others who have been left out of training in pre-season—that’s who the club are looking to raise money from,” he said.
Brown also criticized any previous consideration of selling Mainoo, calling it “a crazy idea.”
