Jorge Jesus has expressed his willingness to take over as head coach of Brazil’s national team after the current season. According to Fabrizio Romano, the 70-year-old Portuguese manager has made it clear that he intends to step into the role.
The final decision now lies with the Brazilian Football Confederation. It is also reported that Carlo Ancelotti, widely considered the top candidate for the position, will likely not be available until at least the end of July.
Reminder: Following Brazil’s loss to Argentina, the Brazilian Football Confederation officially thanked Dorival Júnior for his efforts and announced that the search for his successor has already begun. The new coach’s main task will be to restore the national team’s football identity, as it faces one of the most challenging periods in its international history.
