Jurgen Klopp has been on a break from coaching for a year now, with some attributing this to his own preferences, while others suggest it’s related to his contract terms with Liverpool. However, the German coach has his own aspirations for the future.
According to Klopp’s former Mainz teammate Miroslav Tangya, Jurgen has expressed a desire to coach either the German national team or Real Madrid. Additionally, Klopp doesn’t see himself managing any team in the Premier League other than Liverpool, nor does he have interest in Serie A or Ligue 1.
“Klopp told me when he left Liverpool that he had two main dreams: to coach the national team or Real Madrid,” Tangya shared. “I don’t know if either of those will happen. He is certainly one of the candidates for the Real Madrid job, but for now, it’s all just speculation. I also know he never saw himself managing any other English club besides Liverpool.”
“He doesn’t want to go to Serie A or France, and at some point, I believe he’ll take on the role of the German national team manager. We’ve talked about it, but right now he’s working as an ambassador for Red Bull, dealing with clubs in their group globally and not focusing too much on coaching. Whether he’ll get bored and return to management, even he doesn’t know yet,” Tangya told Mundo Deportivo.
