Florent Malouda has called on Chelsea to pursue Victor Osimhen again when the January transfer window opens. The club nearly secured the Nigerian striker in the summer but couldn’t meet his demands, leading him to join Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray on loan from Napoli.
Malouda believes Osimhen would bring significant quality to Chelsea’s squad. “We almost signed Victor in the summer, and he’s exactly the type of player we need,” he said in an interview with Coin Poker.
He noted that if the opportunity arises in January, Chelsea should consider making a bid, especially since Osimhen’s price is expected to be lower than the previous summer figures, estimated around £70 million.
