Bayern Munich’s left-back Alphonso Davies remains in a contract stalemate, with no negotiations initiated between the involved parties. A new contender has emerged for the Canadian defender.
Insider Florian Plettenberg reports that Manchester United has expressed interest in Bayern’s star full-back. The Red Devils have been gathering extensive information on Alphonso Davies in recent days. The 23-year-old Canadian is seen as a highly desirable option for United’s vacant left-back position.
In recent months, Manchester United has made several informal inquiries to the player’s camp, although these contacts have not been official.
Additionally, Real Madrid is also keen on securing Davies, with aspirations of signing him as early as the winter transfer window.
Reminder: Bayern is open to extending Davies’ contract, provided he negotiates with agent Huoseh to lower his wage demands.
