One of the standout stories of the current English Premier League season is undoubtedly Nottingham Forest. The “Foresters” are now eyeing a potential Champions League qualification and are adjusting their transfer strategy accordingly.
According to talkSPORT, if they manage to secure a spot in the elite tournament, Nottingham Forest is seriously considering a move for Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton.
However, Wolverhampton is unlikely to part ways with their star player for anything less than his £62 million release clause. Paying that amount would nearly double Forest’s current transfer record, which stands at £35 million, set by the signing of Elliott Anderson.
It’s also worth noting that Chelsea has shown interest in signing Nottingham Forest’s key defender, Ola Aina.
