Sixteen-year-old midfielder Lennart Karl of Bayern Munich has drawn interest from several European clubs.
Journalist Florian Plettenberg reports that both Real Madrid and Ajax are keen on acquiring the talented German prospect. Ajax has been particularly attentive to his development, as his contract with Bayern’s youth team runs until 2026. There are indications that Bayern is currently hesitant about offering him a professional contract.
Karl is expected to move up from Bayern’s U17 team to the U19 squad this winter. His interests are represented by German football legend Michael Ballack.
