Real Madrid are reportedly planning to strengthen their defense by targeting Crystal Palace captain Marc Guéhi, with a potential bid expected as early as January.
According to Real Madrid Confidencial, Los Blancos are closely monitoring the 25-year-old English defender’s contract situation, which expires in the summer of 2026. To avoid a bidding war and secure Guéhi before he can leave on a free transfer, Real Madrid are prepared to make an offer of around €30 million in the January transfer window.
Guéhi is also attracting interest from top clubs like Liverpool, Tottenham, and Bayern Munich, all keeping tabs on his availability.
The Crystal Palace skipper, who joined the club from Chelsea in 2021 for €23.5 million, has since become a key player, featuring in 168 games, scoring 9 goals, and assisting 6 times. His current market value is estimated at €50 million by Transfermarkt.
