Chelsea’s active transfer market pursuits continue, with the club eyeing potential targets from other teams, even if it means competing with major clubs.
Reports suggest Chelsea are interested in Nottingham Forest defender Murillo, a player also being tracked by Real Madrid. However, well-known insider Fabrizio Romano clarified that the 22-year-old Brazilian might be out of Chelsea’s financial reach.
“I’ve seen the rumors about Murillo and Chelsea, and while they are monitoring several central defenders, no negotiations have taken place yet. Murillo would be very expensive for any club. Nottingham Forest refused to entertain offers for him last summer, even from Juventus,” Romano stated in his column for *The Daily Briefing.*
