Liverpool is already planning for the summer transfer window and is exploring the possibility of replacing Darwin Núñez, who could be leaving the club. The Reds are also monitoring the Premier League market for potential signings.
A new name has emerged on Liverpool’s radar: Brighton forward João Pedro, who is quickly becoming one of Arne Slot’s top targets.
According to Caught Offside, Liverpool have reached out to the Brazilian striker’s camp to discuss a potential move this summer.
João Pedro could be available for around €50 million, which is significantly less than the cost of Newcastle’s Alexander Isak, who is valued much higher.
However, the competition for Pedro is expected to be intense. The Brazilian has already piqued the interest of several top clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, PSG, Bayern Munich, and Manchester United.
As a reminder, it was reported today that Real Madrid has extended a personal contract offer to Liverpool captain Trent Alexander-Arnold.
