Juventus is continuing to work on the plan to part ways with Thiago Motta and bring in a new head coach.
Details: According to Fabrizio Romano, former Lazio head coach Igor Tudor is the top candidate to replace Motta. The Croatian manager has reportedly agreed to take on the role until the end of the season, with an option to extend his contract until 2026 if the team’s performance improves.
Tudor, who left Lazio in the summer, has been without a managerial position since then. He previously coached Juventus during the 2020-21 season and has also managed Marseille, Udinese, Hajduk, and several other clubs.
Reminder: It was earlier reported that Roberto Mancini could temporarily take over at Juventus for four months, specifically to lead the team during the Club World Cup.
