Canadian opposite Kiera Van Ryk has announced her next destination for the 2025/2026 season, joining Shanghai Bright for her first professional experience in Asia.
The 26-year-old comes off several seasons in Turkey with THY and VakifBank, and her future had been uncertain following limited appearances in the VNL and her absence from the World Championship in Thailand.
“I just arrived in Shanghai and I’m very excited for the season ahead and to compete for the title with my team,” Van Ryk wrote on social media.
