Round three of the Saforelle Power 6 delivered high drama across the board, with multiple five-set thrillers and a shake-up at the top of the table.
In Mulhouse, the home crowd was treated to a rollercoaster night as their team clawed back from a 2–1 deficit to defeat Cannes in a heart-pounding 3–2 victory. The decisive tie-break ended 16–14, capping off one of the round’s most intense matchups.
Meanwhile, Vandoeuvre Nancy asserted their dominance at home, cruising past Chamalières in straight sets (3–0) to claim the top spot in the standings—at least temporarily.
Volero Le Cannet also found themselves pushed to the limit, narrowly edging Terville-Florange 3–2 in another five-set battle. Elsewhere, Saint-Dié pulled off a surprise, taking down Béziers 3–2 in a tightly contested affair.
Earlier in the evening, Évreux finally had reason to celebrate. Spurred on by their home fans, coach Simon Garel’s squad earned their first win of the season with a 3–1 triumph over France Avenir.
At the top of the table, Paris Levallois Saint-Cloud—double defending champions—bounced back from their early loss to Bordeaux Mérignac. The Parisians found their rhythm and powered through for a 3–1 win, now tied with Vandoeuvre Nancy heading into the next round on October 25.
