Tours showcased both grit and composure as they secured a 3–1 victory (28–26, 18–25, 25–18, 25–20) over Plessis-Robinson in the second round of the French Marmara Spike Ligue. After dropping the second set, the reigning French champions quickly regained control to take the next two. Slovenian newcomer Nik Mujanovic starred once again, tallying 26 points with a mix of sharp attacks, aces, and solid blocks.
The win underscores Tours’ strong start to the season, following their opening 3–0 triumph over Ajaccio. With two consecutive victories, they now share the league’s top spot with Montpellier, Tourcoing, and Narbonne, all of whom have also begun the season in fine form.
Le Plessis-Robinson, meanwhile, couldn’t sustain the momentum from their earlier surprise victory over Chaumont.
